My name is Manuel Blanc. I have training in psychoanalysis and ethnopsychoanalysis, and a curious, empathetic, and literary spirit. In this introductory space, I wanted to share a brief impression of my practice and approach. Broadly, I seek to help people who bring me stories I’ve never heard before—narratives with unique constellations of meaning that consistently compel me to feel and think anew. These discoveries invariably prove essential for the path we build together.
While significant technical nuance is applied according to each individual’s psychological functioning, the essence of my work remains unchanged: to help people engage more meaningfully with their emotions, their self-perceptions, how others perceive them, and how they perceive others. This dialogue is the core of my work, and I believe everyone evolves by learning to converse more deeply with these identity landscapes—whether ill or well, successful or struggling. I’ve never met anyone free of representational and emotional limitations that, in some way, don’t complicate their own life.
Elsewhere on this site, you’ll find reflections on fundamental themes in my profession. These may help you discern whether my approach resonates with you and whether you might wish to explore working together.
I believe each person is made up of subtle movements, of states that shift over time. Nothing is fixed and nothing is definitive. There is always something in transition. The model I practice is attentive to details such as the to tone of voice, the pauses, the images that arise and the emotions that begin to surface before they fully take shape. Much like in impressionist painting, I am more interested in atmosphere than in rigid outlines, more in lived experience than in immediate explanation.

My path brings together psychology with organizational and theatrical backgrounds. This crossing has taught me the value of structure, but also its limitations when applied to human experience without sensitivity. Today, structure serves only as a frame—never as a boundary.
I work with people in moments of change, doubt, or internal misalignment. Moments when something loses clarity and asks to be looked at with more time and greater care.
I do not work to correct, normalize, or accelerate. I work to illuminate inner spaces, to make thinkable what was previously only felt, to help build new meanings from experience. In doing so we find that each process is unique, the pace is respected, and the path is discovered within a space of listening and reflection.
A space where small insights can lead to profound change.
A space where care also happens in the time that is allowed.
